Are gold-tone and rose gold cards made of real gold?
No. Our gold-tone brass, rose gold and copper options are finishes. They are not solid gold or any solid precious metal. Exact materials are confirmed in your quote.
How much do metal business cards cost?
Pricing depends on finish, decoration method, sides, features like NFC or a bottle opener, quantity, artwork preparation and timing. We don't publish set prices — your quote confirms current details for your specific project.
Is there a minimum order?
We don't list a minimum on this site. Tell us the quantity you actually need, and your quote will confirm what's available for that project.
How long does production take?
Timelines vary by product and current availability. Share your deadline in the quote builder and we'll confirm whether it's realistic before anything moves forward. We never guarantee a date before reviewing your request.
What's the difference between a QR code and NFC?
A QR code is a visible pattern scanned with a phone camera. NFC is an embedded chip that a compatible phone can read when held close to the card. QR needs line of sight; NFC needs proximity and phone support. Many people choose both.
Will NFC work on every phone?
Not necessarily. NFC support depends on the phone model, operating system and settings, and some phones need NFC switched on. That's why we often recommend a QR code as a backup.
Do I need an app to use an NFC card?
Many compatible phones can open a link from an NFC tag without a separate app, but this isn't universal. Behavior varies by device.
What file format should I send for artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) are preferred, with fonts converted to outlines. If you only have a JPG or PNG, send the largest version and we'll let you know if it can work or needs to be redrawn.
Can GMB design my card for me?
Yes. Our design services can refine an existing logo, redraw low-resolution artwork or build a full card layout. You'll review a proof before production.
Will I see a proof before my cards are made?
Yes. We share a design proof showing how your artwork is planned on your chosen product. Nothing moves to production until you approve it.
What size are metal business cards?
Sizes depend on the specific product and format, including square and bottle opener styles. We'll confirm the technical dimensions for your chosen card before you finalize artwork.
Can I order different names on the same design?
Usually, yes. Team orders with different names or titles can be discussed in your quote. Variable details may affect setup.
Does the quote builder send my request?
Not automatically. The quote builder prepares a summary you can copy or download. You then continue to GMB's main site to send it through the existing contact flow. Your request hasn't been sent until you do that.
Do you serve customers outside Greenville?
